For the past 20+ years, Dennis and Peggy Moran (Cabin 84) have diligently gathered trash and debris along Highway 18 above the SWS Colony between Castle Rock Trail and the Dam as part of the CalTrans Adopt-A-Highway program. Now the time has come for them to pass along their stylish CalTrans helmets and vests, trash bags and grabbers to new volunteers willing to carry on this valuable Southwest Shore tradition.
